If Freida is a dragon rider, she needs a mount. I'm thinking of calling him Eberhard.

So, two different kinds of dragons in this setting. The question is: How different are they? Is the feral one intelligent? Are they two subspecies of the same whole, or are they two completely different species? If so, would the two species have different names to differentiate them?
All good questions.
The feral dragons are intelligent in like the same ways we see elephants in our society. They need to be trained to do what their masters want to be done with them, but after a bit of conditioning, they learn to do these tasks without instruction. They can't speak or anything, so they can't have a conversation and don't have the communication ques the anthro dragons do. They would both fit in the same Family, but be completely different genus and species. Like how we classify ourselves in the Hominidae family along with Chimpanzees, Gorillas, and Orangutans. I haven't gone as far as creating specific taxonomic names for them, but that's the basic idea of what these guys are and how to see them.

Oh! The anthro dragons would refer to themselves as 'dragons' (i.e Dragonkind, etc.), and these guys would be called 'Wyverns' since, well, they are wyverns. There aren't any anthro-Wyverns in this story setting so there should be no confusion to what they are referring to when they say it. I haven't come up with a better term for the 'dragon rider' title yet since I'm still developing that aspect.
I really like the armor concept. Just can't understamd why the reins are controlled by the contraption you put on the shoulders and why there is a lever to "supposely block" the lenght of the reins (if that is the case). But all in all the armor is quite "believable" in its entirenss, good job!
