I stood at the edge of the Wood
After all the years spent away;
The tired warrior returned at last.
The Forest had asked me not to go.
Looking to the sky I saw no birds;
The jeering crows of battle
Were but a distant memory now.
We called them:
Black Harbingers Of Death.
Too much death.
The Forest had begged me not to go.
She whispered in gentle tones;
Stay... Here… Home…
Don’t leave.
But I left…
Seeking fortune and glory.
Only to return again,
Instinctively back
To her.
She’d pleaded with me not to go;
I would accept her judgement.
Discarding my weapons
I knelt and kissed the ground.
I prayed;
‘I am so sorry.
The lost son of bloody deeds
Comes seeking forgiveness.
Is it possible to begin anew?’
The Forest came to me then,
Her living mantle draped around her.
As I cried for the wrong I had done;
She took me back.
Holding me
In a lover’s embrace
It became as if I had never left.
I was once again…
Home.

New original piece of music. I had the idea of this in my mind for quite a while. At last, I've been able to release it. Was a good chance to test out my new Pianos as well. This time around, it's a Bechstein D-280 (Amazingly warm sound you can get off them.)
Will feature on my next album "Feel", Summer 2009.
Thanks to everyone that takes a listen! ^_^

Such a beautiful, magical, soothing tune. It gave me the image of forest spirits/guardians looking over a huge, beautiful full forest. Yet another thing I may have to try to draw. ^__^
So far your music has been just about the only music that gives me inspiration for images or little stories that would make good comics or animations. Perhaps whenever I'm in an art slump I should just stop by your gallery and listen to a few songs. :D

This was very nice. I felt transported into another world. Albeit a world that only existed for the duration of the song. Blue blur's picture helped a great deal with that. I really liked this. You really have a mastery of combining piano with other instruments/sounds/etc. That's something I always wanted to be good at but could never really get the knack. Though it's been a long time since I've tried. I've concentrated mostly on my solo piano music over the years. If I can get it recorded I'll send you a link. I'd like your opinion as a fellow musician that I admire. Currently I have a keyboard with no sustain pedal and there's a key that won't function. But I guess those are just excuses.
Some nice sounds :)
I like how the texture with the lush strings gets almost hypnotic, and then about halfway through when we think we know what the piece is about they drop out and it's just piano with new harmonic material. And the piano isn't just a B idea, the strings never come back so the piano becomes the piece. For such a dramatic change, and that late into the duration of the piece, it seemed almost unsettling, in a very wistful way. So very effective use of form/pacing!

You music is - and I don't know any other way to say this - remarkably honest. There are no gimmicks, no tricks. It's incredibly pure and extraordinarily beautiful. Thank you for giving it to the world. :)
Also, it's very nice to listen to while knitting! :D

The song and poem really hit home for me in ways that would take a wall of text to explain. :P I'll just say, wow... it gave me a lump in my throat to listen to this and to read the poem. Really touching and beautiful, and the poem and song combine just perfectly. <3
I've heard many of your musics, and this one is the most beautiful for me. Very emotive, impressive and calm, it is exactly the style I'm trying to do.
And I'm glad because I downloaded string's sounds which are the same as yours ! :D
You're a great artist Fox Amoore. :) Keep on doing, later I will listen to the other musics.

Every song you do seems to just paint the images of some story so perfectly, i dont think i've find a song yet that hasnt brought me to tears wheither they be happy or sad ones. Simply beautiful. Don't listen, Feel... Such a perfect way to describe it. Your songs always seem to penetrate deep within the heart and soul..
I'm sure you've heard plenty of things like that but i dont think one more would ever hurt, You have a gift.
