Depends upon whether the character has markings that would need a proper reference.
If the character is simple-ish, in example "blue husky with white face mask and white belly and feet paws. Green eyes and a curled tail with a dark blue tip"
I could work with that but if it was complicated like "This african wild dog with a several big blotches on back and thigh, and a tattoo that wraps around the ankle and goes up to the belly button" then I'd probably have to decline

Well, they are cat-like creatures but there are two different types, the word Drangel is actually a combination of the two types, in a backwards sort of sense.
There are light and dark Drangel species, the light type have lighter, more vibrant hues to their fur while the dark types generally have a darker hue to their fur, they can be any colour but depending on the type determines the hue, if that makes sense...so you can have a light and dark Drangel which are both red, for example, but the light types fur would be a brighter red than the dark types, which would typically be a really dark blood like red.
The word Drangel though comes from the type of wings they can summon, it's a combination of both of them, light types can summon angelic wings while dark types can summon dragon like wings, hence Drangel, (dra from dragon and ngel from angel)
But yeah, they don't always have their wings out, it actually makes them really visible when they do because the wings are essentially magic which causes their markings to glow, so they don't use them unless they have to
