One of the things I've always loved about Jaytee is the love of family. How well he takes care of Grandma. How he shares with this sister. And now this. Expression whore that I am I'm in love with Jaytee's face here. It's also one of the most heartbreaking expressions I've seen so far. ;-;

As often as we essentially treat these characters as "who are they going to sleep with next" I adore how much you put into their pasts and personalities. Your world detail is always exquisite. The barebones scene, Jaytee's expression and a single word. You speak to my heart good sir.

Mission accomplished, thank you. I was really trying to bring the feels with this one. Yes, jaytee's mother is all sorts of screwed up, but he still cares for his mother and wonders how she's doing wherever she may be.

It is strangely soothing and sad.

I see Jaytee still thinks of his mother even when she blamed them for their father's leaving and could leave him and his sister days alone.
I guess it is a mixed feeling, feeling sad and hoping to she your mother someday again.
While on the other side maybe feel a bit angry/frustrated for blaming them when they couldn't do anything about it.

The tear sparkling on the gray face is a nice touch.

Wow, I'm surprised you remember those details of jaytee's character. Sadly, I'm sure it's forgotten by the majority. And yes, he's torn but still lives his mom no matter how badly she's hurt him and his grandmother.

I thought the parents you have shown before where his, but I also strongly remembered him living with his grandmother and taking care of her.
So I had to look up which one it was.

The parents I was thinking of where Ted and Karen Joyce's parents.

So far little to no detail has been given of jaytee's mother and father. His character arc and story plot have also been keep quiet much like a huge majority of the senyoko roster.
