Yes, it's an 11-year-old game that didn't sell very well, but it's a fucking good game. People didn't bitch as much when Samus changed genre into an FPS, and Metroid Prime also kicked ass. Contrast, people bitched about XCOM: the Bureau being an FPS, and the 'Glorious PC Master Race' bitched so hard, Firaxis/2K Marin changed Bureau into the unsatisfying game it turned out to be, away from the kickass X-Files-esque "erase the truth" motif the early trailers were going with and the MUCH cooler Outsider alien design (heavily based on the Hard Light/Energy entities that Enemy Unknown's UFO-commanding Outsiders are)--- hell, like how Enemy Unknown/Within was resurrected from the cancelled XCOM: Genesis (http://www.thelastoutpost.co.uk/gam.....-ellis-genesis), Bureau was resurrected from the similarly cancelled, similarly FPS XCOM: Alliance. And look at this working level! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjGxCerqPPY Look at that! That's the fucking Pirate Frigate in Prime!
We coulda had XCOMetroid: Prime! THINK ABOUT THAT!
Anyways, I digress. The original iteration of this was 4-5 index cards I doodled a rough flowchart and notes onto, which were in my "Game Master's Notebook," and I had not seen a well-made map of (again, due to unpopularity of this overlooked, excellent RPG), and various guides just had a dry text listing, which really doesn't show relationships.
So I made one.

It's sad how game makers are so scared shitless to think outside the box and when they do they jump right back in. MMXCM was a good jump into rpg for megaman as was dark brotherhood for sonic and that game was suposed to get a second...but then damn EA bought out the company that helped make it. Both capcom and sega just keep killing each other with these stupid ideas and when they get a good one they think it's bad dispite the fans ask for it.
Oh, there's nothing truly missable, save for some stealable things from some of the later bosses (a Build Hyper on Ferham, for example). Otherwise, closest to it is you can potentially miss not maxing out all deployment mechs, if you don't use them all and only used the maxed out ones in getting all the deployment treasures, that 16-entry Action Trigger requirement for a Force Metal of Zero's (that in my opinion, isn't really worth it, so no matter), and another force metal that required getting hit by Blitzkreg 30 times (but you can just re-battle the final boss enough times, since that's scripted). There's no Radar Tokens in this part of the Forest, if you're on the GC version with a GBA link cable, as well.
Yeah, still working on zero (I got to 15 once!) This map showed me that out of the remaining 5 tokens needed, four were still in the forest (I swear I went through some of those paths before, must have been a different run or I didn't save) the last one is held by ninetails so all are now accounted for. Not enough blitzkriegs yet but I know about the scripted one. I was careful to hall of fame every mechanoloid this run just in case. I was afraid I'd have to start all over (again, lost original save) but this helped! I think the last biggie is 200,000 damage in an FS.
Yeah, what you wanna do in the Forest: while you're IN it, hit I think X to see the map: it'll show all the paths-- here: https://gamefaqs.akamaized.net/scre.....1_2_53_mid.jpg
Each little square is the treasure room, while the rectangles are the battle rooms. THat way, you can keep track of which ones you've actually done.
Final Smash-- er Strike, both the +200 hits and +200,000 damage, can be done with Axel, X (with Phoenix Armor), and Cinnamon (well, the 200 hits can be done with Spider instead of Axel, even gets like 10 more hits in, but obviously a story limit on THAT) on any 4 enemies. With Axel, after beating Raffelsia, his Action trigger can activate Final Smash on those brown dogmechs (most commonly see in desert-- Wild Dog x4 you can see on my map here), OR have the End To All metal, and get four Batbones (lowest defense stats in the game), and X with his Ultimate Armor. You do need to level considerably, tho, so that one does involve raw damage.

I completed 200 hits FS with x, axl and spider, I thought it would be easiest that way. I don't remember exactly how, but I either fought 4 bat bones or used the eternal forest to get the wolves. Oh and yeah I checked the in game map and the unvisited rooms matched the figure tokens missing. Got zero's command arts up to 15, so close. I'll just have to grind to deal enough damage for 200k damage FS.
Y'can get it done I think around level 30-35, if you got strong weapons--- usually, I perfer multi hit weapons like Marino's Blade n Chakram, and any Axel gun where he dual-wields (this one in particular matters because any single-shot gun he has, reduces his hit and DPS in Final Strike), even tho it may have higher base stats: that's on top of the character's stats. so two 100 power shots is more than one 150 power shot.
However, Cinnamon's, and both of X's armor's final strike attack is unique. I was trying against the brown wolfoids, and was doing with X, Axl, adn Cinnamon, about 150K (with Ultimate Armor, but you *do* get a smidgen +10K more damage with Fire X). But then I simply went back to the first level, Largano ruins, and luckily got a encounter with 2 battones, and two Patrol Dogs-- after I had switched X to a slightly higher base-stat wepaon in Fire X armor, and put Cinnamon's hammer weapon instead of Kitty Paws for the higher base damage. Easily did 220K damage.

Oh! I did read there IS, in fact, one instance of missable stuff: Sixtails. Upon defeat, he drops the last Tank Part and one of the last Figure Tokens. His fight's gimmick is that after 10 rounds, he heals and gets stat boosted, then after 20: he self-destructs-- without dropping the Part or Token. Thus; if you don't beat him, and he self-destructs (and you survive it somehow), you can't get that last tank completed, and will be short 1 token of getting all figurines.
