The axe in his hands seemed to glow, and a horribly familiar sensation took hold.
The minotaurs body heaved, but that twisting burning sensation localized in his shoulders and then erupted.
The axe burned as the flaming senesation coalscened and formed into limbs, jutting from his warped shoulderblades.
The twin protusions grew, into extra arms that soon elogated, and thickened.
A membrane grew between them, thickening and growing till he realized what they were.
Massive bat-like wings swept back from his shoulders, the same tone as his hide, yet stained red, like the armor he could not remove from his body.

The fire burning from his axe and shoulders subsided, and reappeared in his mind.
His eyes saw red, and his instincts were supressed, all for the sake of blood.
Bloodshed... His sense of smell and hearing expanded, and he sensed something else in the labyrinth, he turned in the direction and smilled.

"Fresh Blood," he snarled and tore off towards his quarry.
