Eyyyy! I finally finished that one thing! Klyk in her redesigned glory! It got a little messier towards the end, but I still really like how this turned out.

Klyk is a necromancer from an Aztec-inspired civilization who is determined to start her own language (that book on her hip is one she’s created from skin she’s turned to leather and tattooed in her language/magic runes) and city (exclusively for necromancers and their creations).

She’s from the same universe as The Fiance‘s Rokk, but as he is Maori-inspired and thus from a somewhat different region they look (and act) rather different. Also Klyk is not a Blackscale, she’s just melanistic. While nowhere near as tall as Rokk (who is, I believe, something like 9 feet?) Klyk is lanky and constantly moving or doing something. She is also a horrid hunter, and so she appreciates when Rokk’s around because she eats better than she normally does.

She almost always has some sort of undead self-made creature nearby, and when she gets her city (which is hidden underground beneath a smaller city) she ends up making an army of these creatures.
