A conceptual sketch of what I guess is my second fursona. While I am and always will be Myrle, Cordylia here will probably be the fur I work toward getting a suit for. There's an interesting story behind Cordy, which I'll take a moment to tell:
A couple of friends and I decided to play Dawn of Worlds, a little homebrew game where you draw up a map and essentially play god, creating landmasses, ecosystems, peoples, and events to your heart's content. Well, For kicks, we decided to each assume the role of a god of a different archetype, thus gracing this made-up world with a God of Abundance, God of Knowledge, and me, the Goddess of Nature. The first few rounds of play was a race to create the first sentient species, since each action required a certain amount of points and doing so was one of the most expensive. Well, I got there first, and thus the Ja'ziri, a race of beetle-folk, were born. Some several turns later, the God of Knowledge has his own people now, who have seriously screwed themselves over with magic and essentially accidentally create an orbital cannon of magic that wipes out most of the Ja'zirian population. Because my moves from then on were directed more toward getting revenge for that, we decided that the Goddess of Nature had become corrupted somehow, and thus was no longer content to just create and leave the other gods' creations alone. Cordylia pretty much developed on her own from there; perhaps when I digitally render this picture or perhaps draw another, I'll go into more detail on her "canonic" bacstory.
