Right! Bloody hell I'm pleased with myself. This took forkin ages! Started off as an inspiration to try drawing images with a HUGE resolution, and to make the line art very crisp and clean. So I cracked open Photoshop, grabbed my tablet, and got to work!
Started off with a huge res image, bout 5000x5000 it was, and made about 3 sketch layers before I started inking. And that took the longest I'd say. I must have reworked parts several times over, and then I went in for the detail. I spent loads of time on the trousers and shoes, and a bloody eternity doin the zip teeth on the jacket! Each drawn by me, no cheating.
After that, It was a few flat colours and onto the main colouring! Started the clothes first, and got the shading done with all that too, using a new few tricks.
Then the fur. Now I know about around 5 different ways to draw fur on Photoshop, so I spent almost a day picking the one I wanted. In the end I chose a rather cheating way, via filters, noise, and motion blur. But I made sure that it was accurate! I must have killed the lasso tool, selecting areas, and pointing the motion blurr in the correct flow of fur! Then I jumped at the air, and used an old favourite style to do the hair.
I also quite early in the image went and did the eyes, which I am very proud of, they look awesome!
After all that, a touch and clean up, added a rather simple bg, and ended up with what ya see now.
I hope you like, and I ask that if ya can, leave some powerful critique on this! I want it!
If ya wanna see the really H-U-G-E version of this, go here!

Damn that's impressive. Excellent job on the whole thing, the lines are crisp, the fur is great, and all the little details are excellent (love the belt on his tail). And kudos for the tricky stance, it gives it some cool flair (and that glove looks great up close).
The only thing I see to critique would be his legs; right leg specifically. It looks a little... bent, and not in the direction it should be. Dunno, it may be me, but it's just a little odd to look at.
Apart from that wonderful job. An instant fav if there ever was one

^^ Thanks buddy! I'm glad that ya like it! I worked real hard with this, and I am very pleased with the outcome!
As with the legs, its really just the angle and the trousers that make it off putting, I had done a fair bit of research into the positions of the legs, and I did re draw them allot! And I was most pleased with this outcome!
