Fresh off their fifteen minutes of heroism, Liera and Viestras have continued their success as partnered adventurers and close friends. However, due to extenuating circumstances, it has been a time since last they met; Liera, hoping to amend this, sends her black mage companion a letter, enclosed with a special seal even she may not know the true properties of.
Working on a billion things at once, The Mannoth realized that he should probably tilt his pen toward something smaller and interstitial. Remarkably, I was able to crank this out in about the span of an hour and a half after deciding what to work on, which ended up being a vignette featuring a duo I'd forgotten I liked so much. Not as much banter as I'd like between them, but such is the price to be paid. Also my first time using a custom thumbnail!
