Commission: A Shocking Encounter by Julius B
Here's a piece I commissioned from an artist who's style has always been rather interesting to me, an artist by the name of Julius B. (You can find his DA page here: http://julius-b.deviantart.com/)
I'm kinda trying to take
draggincat's advice here and make these concept arts a bit more action focused so it's not just the character in a static pose each time (also he gave this advice to everyone watching his page, not just me specifically or anything); I figured with this one I would kinda show Lanre introducing herself to a typical guard/bandit.
This concept art was a lot of fun, and I like the way it turned out; you can tell who the characters are supposed to be and all the details are accurate, but the artist's unique style is preserved as well.
Regardless, I hope you all like it, feel free as usual to comment on what you like, what you don't, and how this can be used to improve future pieces.
Thanks for viewing everyone!

Indeed, I don't think they have an FA though.
The soldier/bandit is one of mine, it's supposed to be this character (though it turned out a little taller than normal): http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17617519/

Cool, I'm glad you think so. Yeah, I was kinda trying to draw inspiration from those NOD militia soldiers from command and conquer 3, I always liked how they were an interesting blend of semi-futuristic but also something that looks more like it specializes in indirect and guerrilla warfare.
Anyway, thanks for the comment!

Well technically I just helped pick out the design, the main artist
BodyxCount is the one who made it, I just supplied ideas.
I appreciate it though, glad you like the stuff on the page!

Thanks, I think the cartoon-like style came through really well here; also it's nice to be able to commission more dynamic stuff these days that slowly shows more and more of each characters personality, rather than just having them standing there.
Much obliged for the comment.

Juno: Where do you think you're going wimp?!
Bandit: No sparky! NO SPARKY! Sparky bad! Sparky BAD! PLEASE NO SPARKY!
Juno: This one's on the house! (Shocks bandit) BZZZZTTT!!!
Bandit: GGIHHH!!!! .....
Juno: And I've got plenty more where that came from for plenty more of you guys!

Mostly I had this piece made to experiment with eventually giving Juno a taser; mostly as I thought it would be an interesting way for her to incapacitate certain guards.
Unfortunately all the scenes where she would have used it are way later in the script, so there probably won't be any visuals of them.
This practice art was fun to make though.
