I can see Foot Note, in addition to having all sorts of academic credentials, possessing a few odd and in some cases surprising skills that he picked up over the course of a long, distinguished, and adventurous career, much like Scrooge McDuck from the pilot arc of Duck Tales. He can fashion a decent umbrella from palm leaves (a trick he picked up from his time studying the tribes on the island of Poneo), knows the secret weakness of Captain Princess Doc Intrepid's archenemy (he read more than a few issues), can change a diaper in no time at all (has a lot of young nieces and nephews), and was also champion of his college's boxing team (Princess of Queenspony rules, of course).
