This is my second to last piece I composed for composition lessons. It is in the style of Olivier Messiaen. It is a twist on his quartet for Violin, Clarinet, Cello and Piano. I replaced Violin with a Flute. The idea behind this composition was fragmentation. My teacher had been yelling at me all semester that I needed to chop up my melodies more and play around with them. So that's exactly what I did! Enjoy!
