Figured this would be interesting for a few people out there, so here's a few snapshots of the raffle prizes from this October! Part of them are actual WIPs I sent to the clients, another are just there to visualize what was an important step. Putting this in scraps because it's more or less just a collection of WIPs which partially even have layers turned on and off in between (see the text in the middle hurrdurr) :P
I really like seeing the evolution of piece, starting in the sketch phase and then becoming a worked out piece of art I put lots of work into. Maybe you'll be feeling the same thing, as you can see how the artwork started and then became what it is now.
Pieces were done at nearly 4K resolution (A4 72dpi) in Krita 2.9.8, an open-source application which supports all Photoshop functions and has some additional functions as well which I have heavily embedded into my workflow. The brush I am using for lineart and details is from this pack: Deevad's Krita presets!
