My local team!
This is actually a gift head for our local seahawks enthusiast and band member of an epic local band! He gave us a great deal on a great running vehicle and I felt it was a good opportunity to finally make my own seahawk mask and have a reason to!
so no this is not for sale! The vision is extra good. he's not a furry by any means and while the band members wear masks, he never does haha. so hoping he enjoys wearing this and perhaps gets more use out of it than I expect.
anyways! this was a fun project. and I was too excited to post. figured fursuit friday is the perfect timing!

Haha XD It's beautiful ♥ I live in the Tacoma area (grew up my whole life here) and the difference the Seahawks have made in the past couple years is astounding. Few years ago, you'd see a Seahawk thing here or there where there was other sports memorabilia... now? If every man, woman, child, car, coffee cup, article of clothing, lamp-post, can of coke, dog, and face doesn't have a Seahawks color or logo on it, you're downright un-Washingtonian! Even employees of pretty much any type of restaurant or store wear the jerseys instead of uniforms.
Wow, you pulled this off so well, you'd think this was a real bird! Excellent job on the feathering! The top of the head with the blue and black tip blends drew my eye first, I find the shade very pleasing and of course love the neck and breast feathers with those V shape markings!
I just "wow"ed out loud, and I'm all by myself. I've seen (and wanted to try) this feather technique before but this is the first one I've seen that has really popped out at me. I like how uneven all the feathers are on the top of the head--very realistic. Whereas most people try creating them as if they are fish scales. And the coloration is excellent, particularly on the throat. Lovely work!
Found you because of this: http://www.si.com/extra-mustard/201.....?xid=si_social
