Ever wonder about little Caldma? You know, the cute, Baby Scorchio who always seems to be doing nothing else but causing trouble for Zarra all the time? Well, the time has finally come for him to tell his story. The only question is, what kind of story will it be?
Inspired by the many thoughtful remarks made by those who read "Zarra's Great Adventure" and "Zarra's New Friend," this tale will serve as the final in the series of getting to know three good friends who, in actuality, were brought together as a result of the little guy who finally gets a say in this very tale. I wonder what could possibly be milling around in that cute, little head of his?
CHAPTER 9:
After a Great Adventure full of unique experiences, after finding and rescuing a kindred spirit and saving him from certain deletion, and after coming to his senses, we now finally reach the end of our saga.
That's right. This is the FINAL installment in the adventures of Zarra, Caldma, and DB. Though, as the saying goes, every ending is another beginning. So, despite this being the end of the story, you can rest assured life will go on for our favorite, Neopet friends.
However, the question is, how will it go on? What path is everyone set to travel? Only this final chapter in "Caldma's Holiday" will reveal these answers.
SPECIAL NOTE:
As before, I wrote this entire story without the use of my vision. The screen reader program, JAWS, allowed me to express the creative nuances of this tale without having to strain my eye that is still healing from the surgery I recently underwent.
On a refereshing note, though, I learned quite a bit while writing "Zarra's New Friend" and hope it shows while you review over this story. I'm not quite to par with my natural ability, but I believe I'm getting really close. Thank you all for your patience and comments. They have really been inspiring and re-assuring.

well in the last chapter he got his mueka and some things were revealed for what was to come It was a fun read to see how he managed to beat him by fooling him so. And in this chapter we find that just because hes grown up doesnt mean he has lost his youth. I like how he couldn't sleep without his plushie, I suppose after all of that time as a baby some things will just stick for a while^^ Fun read!!
Thank you, MJ. If there is a moral at all to the entire story series it is that, even in our mistakes, we can find the best of results.
For Caldma, he was always a happy and friendly, Green Scorchio. However, he never seemed able to make any solid friends. Therefore, he dedicated himself to gaining attention by being a heroic Defender. Though, it wasn't until he changed strategies and had his incident with the Baby Paint Brush that he got what, deep down, he really wanted. Good friends who loved and cared for him.
Once again, MJ, thanks for all the inspiration. If you, Tacki, and Falcon didn't light the pilot light way back when, this would've never been possible. You guys are the best! *happy nod*

You know even though we encouraged you to do your best it was always you who in the end did it. It was you who had enough courage to do what you love and it was you who continues by being the best writer that you can be. So I thank you being all that you can be and writing such detailed stories.
Hehe, well that was a cute little end. :3 Hopefully he can still enjoy his baby-ish side even if he is more of an adult now. There's no reason why he can't be a bit of both - though I'm glad he's at least grown up enough to realize what Zarra's done for him, and the way he cares about his relationship to DB and hopes to make things right with him eventually. It's good to know you have a family like that! (:
Also, I think he pulled out a book with the title Scorch-E-O on it... and I don't really remember you mentioning the human's name or screen name like I thought you might'a said you were going to mention in the laqst story... I dunno if Scorch-E-O has anything to do with it, but it reminded me of that, at least!

I'm so very happy that you enjoyed the entire series of tales. More interestingly, though, I'm quite impressed on how you picked up on my "hidden" nuances within them. You're still the only one who has brought them to my attention to this point and I am most elated that you did. Most of my story writing works on that same premise where, during the story as a whole, there are little "pieces" that have special relevance if one is sharp enough to catch them. It's kind of like the concept of earning all 100's in Yoshi's Island. You can enjoy the game without earning straight 100's, but there's MUCH more to it if you get such a ranking. :)
Now for your points. The book "Scorch-E-O" that is mentioned in this final chapter is actually where I got my name on here for FA. Everywhere else, I've gone by Yoshi Ducky. However, I wanted something different that captured my enjoyment of Neopets, Yoshi, and Land Before Time. So, because of this, I went by Yosh-E-O. The book "Scorch E O" actually fetches a strong price on Neopets and has cost me quite a bit to put one in my collection and read one to Caldma. ;)
