Well I guess I finished it in time for Halloween. My full WWII US Army Air Force B-17 Gunner Outfit. Everything except the hat, which is a reproduction, is 100% authentic WWII gear. The sheepskin pants, the boots, the bomber jacket and the life vest are all real and made during WWII. The life vest even says mfg. on Feb. 20th, 1945 and it still inflates!!!

Boots: Type A-6A Flight Boots made by Bristolite

Thanks!! It took a while just finding everything especially the boots, those where the hardest to mainly in size and condition. The jacket was the first one I got, and I still wear it when I feel like it especially in this Seattle weather! I have always loved the look of the USAAF and their uniforms, flight gear, planes and just overall everything about them!! And my grandpa joined right as they separated from the Army and became the Air Force, he didn't finish high school as well.
