This is a standard civilian land-skid (or speeder to the Star Wars savvy :P) for Sharnoks. Though the Sharnoks tend to embrace the prosperous and artistic, that does not mean they haven't made technological breakthroughs such as this or that they would always choose to walk everywhere. The deserts of Raukuusio are quite large, after all, and let's be honest here...even alien anthropomorphic dragons don't want to burn up in the heat of day or freeze in the cold of night. Because bandits like the Shadow Masons commonly operate in the safety of the desert dunes, forward-mounted E.M.P. repeaters can be operated by way of triggers on the handle-bars; though they fire at a rapid rate when the triggers are depressed for a prolonged period, the rate diminishes quickly as the vehicle must work to vent the excess energy from its system to prevent overheating and/or creating a feedback loop that kills the electrical systems. A forward-mounted headlight can be activated at any time either by way of the driver's console or automatically when the local lighting reaches a certain level of darkness; the latter option can be turned off at any time.
