As a child, my home was the safest place I could possibly be. No matter what happened, I could always return home and feel safe from all harm. No monsters in my closet, or under the bed, or in the basement. No, the monsters were always outside. Out in the world. Clowns, people in animal costumes, autonomous robots.... those were always so frightening to me. But they were never in my home. Home was safe. Home was sound.
Until it wasn't.
And all of my worst fears and nightmares became a horrifying reality...
