Fun fact: The spell circles around him are actually Norse runes, writing out "Linquere solam cinis et pulvis." or "Leave only ashes and dust."
He's an fire/earth battlemage, so the whole "ash and dust" thing seemed fitting. I dont know latin, but my knowledge of runes helped here :D
