Black foxes are extremely tricky creatures. On the one hand, they stand between the worlds, guarding their safety. One the other - they can easily destroy what they have guarded for centuries.
If met in their human forms, appear to be weak, yet intelligent and distant, as if looking for an unknown door into their inner world, or better yet, the place they call "home".

I just wanted to take a small brake after finishing a commission I've been working on for a while now - although I have to add that I didn't have that much fun doing artwork for someone else in a while now (and I'll probably still be working on it, if the commissioner asks me to). This is one of my hidden characters. Kurokitsune herself.

I know that there are some oddities in anatomy (the right hand and her chest to begin with), but I didn't really want to concentrate on accuracy here. Helpful critique is welcome.

Photoshop CS + Wacom tablet. Round 5-6h (relatively short for me)
