Not to mention Mewtwo is in ubers and banned in normal play while Lucario is perfectly legal.

"fun" and "legal" are rather estranged pieces of vocabulary. ;3

Both of you neglected that Mewtwo learns Aura Sphere at Lv. 100. Lucario's Steel-type, while usuall a boon, gives him a weakness to his own signature move; with Mewtwo's monstrous Special Attack stat, and Lucario's mediocre Special Defense, all but the most perfectly set-up Lucarios will fall in one shot.

the tail is always transparent when I draw him, but you can only tell the tip since it's the only part that overlaps anything in the picture

Amazingly done, their personalities show in how you posed them. Lucario looks like a fighter, and Mewtwo looks like an all powerful (sexy) god, who doesn't need to put effort into it. That alone makes this great, but the colouring, the effects, and details put into this, make it awesome.

saw a comment about the tail, that is a nice touch to Mewtwo. Might like to add that to Silver, if you don't mind me doing so?

Man, Mewtwo was so close to Brawl, (Same thing to Roy) but the overused (or overrated) Aura Pokémon (Lucario) takes his/it's spot in the fight. A bad move for HAL Laboratories to disappoint fans, if better they in together.

Well, since the Wii is an online console, there were rumors that new or returning fighters may eventually be added. But then again, a rumor is only a rumor after all.

The rumor was like Nintendo was like adding a device to the Wii that will download stuff to the games. (Such as adding new fighters in fighting game, etc.) That device isn't mentioned in Nintendo or anywhere in video game sites news.
