It took me FOREVER to settle on his design, I cry. BUT, Ran finally has a design and I couldn't be happier <3 The symbol in the top right is the symbol on his chest, and it is an Adinkra (West African, used in Ghana) symbol meaning "Give me your heart." I found this symbol suiting for rather morbid reasons that tie in with his title of the "Umbra Sadist" because he finds joy in abusing others' emotions and mentality (or toying with their hearts.) And since he's a demon, taking lives is a pretty good source of food in the form of souls!

He's capable of manipulating shadows, specifically his own, which is actually an illusion. He doesn't have a real shadow so it's not hard to find him without the false one trailing behind.
