whoops, I meant to say friendS. there were four of us xD
but ah!! I love their early works too. specifically the second album, where you want to be. that really takes me back to early high school. I think it came out freshman year for me? I often cite one-eighty by summer as one of my favorite songs of all time despite how varied my tastes have become. the embarrassing part of the story of that concert was that I started to cry while singing along when they played it xD; I didn't think they would at first cuz it was a tour promoting louder now. I was playing guitar around that time and I liked to play that song cuz it was really easy and like I said, one of my favs!

Yep, Where you want to be has to be my go to album, I think it was the same album I was introduced to them, back in the day, probably around my freshman year too, if not the year before. one-eighty by summer is a great song! Aww its not embarrassing its cute~ I guessing things all went your way for that night didn't it? It does sound like a easy song to play, I mean I'm no guitarist but it does seem like a nice and easy song to play. Honestly, I like the whole album all together... so its hard to pick a song I really like from that album.... If I had to pick... I guess it'd be a decade under the influence and slow dance on the inside... probably would be my most listen songs. love to sing those out loud too. of course when no one is listening lol

tbs and a few other popular bands of that time among trendy kids (underoath, thursday, mae, anberlin, saosin, motion city soundtrack, etc etc) really got my on a musical path for quite a long time! I even ended up in a band senior year xD tho even at that time my tastes were wildly varied. not to the same extent they are now, but that was the decade of my creative explosion
