This is a loose companion piece for A Breath Apart (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17978579/). They were written at the same time, however this song is intended to be immediately before A Breath Apart on a playlist. This is only because that is how I was testing my ideas and the end of this song sets up the beginning of the other. Why was this song posted so much later? It didn't feel right. A Breath Apart needed to get out in the open. Kissing the Mirror is the shy older sister. She doesn't need to be first.

You need to break your music into sections and use themes. You also need a strong ber backbeat, a deeper stronger bass, there needs to be snare so we know where the accenting is going. Dont speed up your melodic themes to much, otherwise listeners get lost. Also, try to keep away from diminished chords and use more relatable instruments. Other than that, it was ok.
hahaha but diminished chords is life!
While I will admit that there's a degree of "I really don't know what I'm doing" going on, for every every moment like that there's at least one conscious choice/effort. A couple examples I know of for this one are shying away from typical dance/electronica production, over-use of the main idea, the wonky panning/chopping. The chord choices.
I could go on and on about that instrument. It was entirely an afterthought. It was originally just that first pitch bend up and chopping because I thought it'd be fun and cheesy, but then the rest of the track felt empty.
Thanks for the comment, I might have to come back and revisit this one. I have a couple ideas on how I'd approach it a few months later.

Not sure what style/genre of music ChilliChap had in mind, but so far as video game stuff, this has such a strong hook to it. Dont' mean to discount Chilli's comments, would be cool to see variations/remixes. just really digging this one. Especially when it gets into itself more, halfway through. is fun.
