I really love Mastodons. uvu And I never see elephant anthros, not sure why. This is Skully, the mastodon. I am not completely settled on his colouration yet.

Mastodon? Ive never seen anyone do those as an Anthro before, or a Mammoth, or any other ice age creature besides Sabertooths. I like this picture! good work.

I think you don't see them as often because they're harder to draw with 'generic canine face' you see so much in the fandom ;) I've got two bear characters, but I'm very picky on who to commission to draw them if I ever upload their refs, having seen so many dogs-with-round-ears-bears ; _;

Yeah! You're very right and I was actually discussing that very exact thing with a friend last night. You're also right about bears. Bears are bears, not buff dogs. I love bears too!

I'm blown away by this. This is far more attractive than any elephant anthro I have seen on this site. It's probably the proportions, as most artists tend to give elephants a gut and/or ridiculous muscles. I applaud this infinitely and wish you good luck in your future work.

I've seen a few elephant anthros, but I think you maaaay just have ruined all of them for me.
