Don't confuse this with his origin, "Shadows." If you're looking for the story, go here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/18119185/
UPDATE: It uh, took me a full year for me to realize that I never specified that I don't have to be Raihi to be a Shadox. Raihi's a separate character who just happens to manifest as my Shadox form after I die.
DOUBLE UPDATE: screw that, that's depressing. Raihi is now Jordan's ancestor, returned to this earth in a Shadox form and a new lease on life. I'll update this character sheet... eventually... to reflect that.
Raihi Shinespark
Name Origin: Japanese in nature. Rai means thunder or lightning. Hi means fire. Combined, his name means "lightning flames."
Species: Shadox, formerly Luxray
Gender: leans towards male, but can be female
Age: Unknown
Abilities:
Telekinesis- basic control over objects with his mind. You'll know when he's using this power when his eyes glow.
Possession- Raihi's body "ragdolls" when he uses this power. He leaves his own body and well... possesses someone elses.
Haunting- tapping into his spiritual side, Raihi can haunt any person, place, or thing he chooses. His body will disappear while his happens, but it grants him powerful manifestation powers. He cannot immediate leave this state; rather, he must wait for his spiritual energy to replenish before he can stop haunting something. He can be exorcised from this state as well, although he cannot haunt that person, place, or object again for a long while afterwards.
Innate Luxrayness- Raihi still retains much of his former electric powers from his previous time as Jordan. This includes electricity, X-Ray vision, and the ability to tap into his necklace's energy.
Intangibility: being a ghost, Riahi can pass through walls and other objects without much effort.
Limitations:
Ways of resting- being incredibly in tune with his spiritual side due to his cause of transformation, Raihi is literally a restless spirit. He tires like a mortal would, albeit at a slower rate, but he cannot sleep. He only says he can rest is by either possessing another body and sleeping in their body or a variety of special spiritual rituals that are meant to calm restless souls.
Salt- ghosts, for whatever reason, hate salt. As a matter of fact, one could say they are allergic to it! Raihi isn't much different. Too much salt in his body will weaken or potentially cripple him. He cannot be banished from the physical world through these means, but it sure will drain him of his strength. He also cannot cross salt lines for similar reasoning.
Emotional turmoil- because he was formerly Jordan, his memories and previous experiences haunt him. He tends to avoid people and places that relate heavily to Jordan due to the pain of realizing he cannot be Jordan ever again. Anything involving Jordan is pretty much a soft spot for Raihi. And if pressured about Jordan's death enough, or if he lingers on Jordan's past too much, he will enter a semi-conscious state where he relives his own death. This cannot seem to happen more than once a week, but he is helpless while in this state.
Identity- this ties back to the pervious limitation. Due to his nature of existence, Raihi often questions just who he is. He knows he isn't Jordan, but he's so heavily influenced by him it's hard to be sure. Is he his own person? Or is he just a broken Jordan? He can't tell, he can't decide, and if you bring it up he'll tear himself up about it.
Mind and Soul Form:
Mind Form- Raihi's body loses most of its tangibility and semi catches fire. His blue flames arc into the air like a Jaccob's Ladder, and electric-fire will spark about him. In this form, he is already fully in tune with his spiritual side. As a result, his powers and limitations become more pronounced. He also gains the ability to sap other people's life force via contact with his flames. It won't kill them, but it leaves his prey open to suggestion and, well, feeding. Mentally, he is mostly intact, but if he enters this form from an emotional outburst he will often behave semi-violently.
Soul Form- although Raihi can enter this form at any time, he avoids it majority of the time. As a result, he usually only goes Soul form from either extreme emotional stress or when he gets an incredibly massive power surge. If he enters this form from any kund of “surge,” he is a crazed lunatic barely listening to reason. He becomes incredibly animalistic and obeys whatever whim comes to mind. As a result, he has a practically nonexistent attention span. If you hear him cackling like a maniac, run. Ironically, entering this form while he is calm causes him to act almost like a philosopher. He becomes the voice of reason and retains the same abilities as he normally would have in Soul form. Despite being the form most likely to put on glasses and read a book, Soul Form's innate destructive side makes it a form he oft stays away from. If he needs to win a philosophical debate, however...
Whoops, did I overdo the reference? If I did, I apologize. I really get into the character of Raihi.
4/15/18- it’s been a while since I’ve been here! People say Raihi’s depressing and... yeah, that is sort of my fault. But he can be a lot of fun too! Raihi draws from the living around him- the cheerful perk him up, the excited get him bouncing like a pup. I find death to be a fascinating topic, and Raihi was sort of my mind running wild on an idea I had. If you died and somewhat came back to life, what would that be like? It’s not easy to get over your grief, least of all over yourself. Raihi can be dark, and I don’t mind that when the right person can pick him right up~
7/27/22- yeah at some point I'm just gonna redo Raihi's origin and update this reference accordingly. Thinking he's gonna be an ancestor of Jordan instead... that might be more fun, and definitely less depressing.
