Roamin' the desert ain't for everyone. It's gotta lot of emptiness, lotta stuff left behind, lotta dry, and a lotta lonesome sunrises and sunsets. Me? I like it. Hell, I'd be a pretty crap cactus if I didn't like it. Basking in the boiling sun, motoring across the dunes, and drinking the cool nights away and leavin' the ground further below me with every sip. It's a good life I think, and it suits me damn well. Sure I motor across interstates now 'n again, but I can't say I like ridin' over the top of whatever's on there; cars make the going slippery when you're takin' up every lane and runnin' over the damn things pretty much nonstop. Pain in my spiny, green butt if ya ask me. Still, there's something attractive about those towns, the lights, the knee-high houses and hip-tall storefronts. Makes a cat feel special for a little while when everyone's lookin' up at ya. Can never say for long, just doesn't feel right being the center of attention all night...Plus the damn things always seem to disappear once the booze gets flowing. Heh. One of these days I'll take a drip somewhere bigger, somewhere with skyscrapers, lights that never shut off, and the glow of the city blots out the stars...And I'll leave it behind in a bootprint.
Cholla is a cactus cat! A supposed mythical bobcat-like beast from the Arizona desserts that roams the sands at night, yowling and howling and getting drunk on cactus juice. So naturally when applying such a creature to this form, she needed a motorcycle, and to get bigger as she got drunker. She may seem quite prickly on the outside, but she's not a bad gal! Careful for a hug though...Those tend not to let go.
