30 Day Challenge - Day Twenty-Seven
SHAMEBOWL
A mouse or suitably mouse-like micro is used as the ball. It matters that he be a mouse even though we will use a TF ray to change him into a ball. Male and female balls are both acceptable so long as they fall within regulation dimensions.
Each team has one female macro to serve as a "Goal". Goal's open maw must not be wider than ten yards, and she must be able to stand (feral) or lay down (anthro) with chin touching the grass without blocking the view from the bleachers or having any appendages extended outside of the arena.
Each has up to thirtteen male furries within standard humanoid size range (defined as a height of 3'0" through 9'9"); feral and taur players must have a total body length not exceeding this maximum height range instead. Standard equipment is a T-shirt with matching gloves of your team's colors; pants are optional, footwear is forbidden, and helmets are for sissies. Each player is allowed to bring a single blunt implement from another sport in and use it.
Knocking or throwing the ball into the mouth of your team's Goal is worth 34 points. Carrying the ball into your Goal is called a Suckdown and is worth 69 points, but removes you as a player from the rest of the match. Doing these same accomplishments into the opposing team's Goal adds 13 and 42 points to you team's score respectively. After sustaining a game-ending injury, a player must be eaten by his team's goal; this gives the team 1 point. He is not allowed to receive medical attention from anyone aside from his own teammates until the match is over.
The game ends when one team runs out of players on the field, no mice or regulation-accepted mouse substitutes can be found to use as balls, or a Goal proclaims herself to be "full". At this point, the team with the higher score is declared the winner. If the scores are tied, the team that has more players on the field wins. If this is still a tie, the two Goals must disrobe from any clothing they had brought (optional for their position on the team to begin with) and wrestle until one is clearly victorious.
BIG HYPE CONTROVERSY
As soon as any of the rules became clear, social media exploded with outrage. It was demanded that female players be allowed on the field, that male macros be allowed to act as Goals, and so on. SHAMEBOWL XI was actually the first game of this sport played, but you wouldn't know that because of course some of the protesters were claiming to have been championing for these rights since SHAMEBOWL IV or SHAMEBOWL I.
This controversy gave hype and advertisement to the sport, filling the arena. And of course they lifted the sex restrictions on the player types; that was the owners' intention all along, to get the attention of the social justice types and then make them feel like they accomplished something for whining and letting them "win".
This is the sort of game where everyone gets played.
