Omg, a submission?! Well, kinda. I work at a local TV news station, and I do graphics on the weekend. Some things I have to do include the large monitor graphics for some of the bigger stories. This is the monitor graphic I did today, sans the text. Basically, the story was about a man being rescued from freezing to death outside his home. So what do I do? I go over the top of course. X3 The final version I have in the newscast has the text "Sub Zero Rescue" over the guy in the pic. So that's the story on WHY.

Here's the HOW. First off the pic actually started out like this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v.....airportman.png I took out all the crap I didn't need/want in the pic, overlayed a couple icicle backgrounds over it, adding some layer and transparency effects to blow out the pic slightly, and then overlayed a couple snow layers, which I put a motion blur on since it was pretty much static snow. And there ya have it!
