Hello hello, friendos!
Got a commission here for
York_Indayla .
This is Agnes, a giant, dragoness, blacksmith. You may remember back a ways when I did a sketch commish of this very character, washing away the days work under a waterfall: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15719399/ . I was super excited to tackle this character again for two reasons. One, with all her scales and pokey bits, fully illustrating her was the only way to TRULY do her justice (Fun though sketching is). And two, immediately after thinking of the concept for the sketch, of ending the day bathing, I thought the idea of showing her at work would be just as, if not more fun. Yeah, what I ended up doing is basically a mini comic. But I'm sure no one's gonna complain.
Also, I intended having this done last week, but after laying out the final lines, the piece became damaged and I was given the opportunity to draw it all over again (See how I made it sound like a good thing, there?). SO, super delayed, but as always, I hope a wait worth baring.
Enjoy!

You ever had that moment where you're left speechless and all you can do is breath. I believe my brain had been doing that for an hour. My hands were virtually frozen over the keyboard over what to type, until this realization came to mind: I can't believe of all the commissions, this was the one your pet ended up sabotaging. I kinda feel honored and bad at once you ended up having to redo this. With this in particular it feels like I'm taking four instances of my character at once every time I look at her.
Every panel of Agnes conveys raw power, an attraction and daresay sexiness in of itself. First right panel: Having Agnes demonstrate using her own racial attributes for her job. Second Panel: P...possibly my most favorite aspect seeing her put all her body into the hammer's swing onto the anvil. Third panel: As pyre aptly noticed, her flicking tongue possibly in self admiration at her work. Then comes the main body shot possibly after her work is done and she's finished placing the finished blade to steam and cool in water, the resulting steam reaching up to her knees and almost looking as if it melds with her body. And once again the strange tiniest detail I admire is the tail visible between her legs.
See? It's one thing to have a Olympian-like being to flex or lift something to show power, but it's another thing altogether seeing someone demonstrate their strength in a demanding career. Just like you had done with the warrior priestess Tihghney to meditate.

MAYBE you fav'd, then did the whole insta-un-fav, so that all I would see is that SOMEONE removed this piece as their fav. Y'know, the classic, reverse compliment.
...
I really wish they'd just find a way to remove the message, rather than let you know that someone took the time to un-fav/watch you. The hurt is real.
