I totally forgot to mention this!
Last week these two magazines came out, on both of which I did work on the cover drawings. The one on the left was drawn and inked by me (here's a little close-up of Donald), and for the one on the right I was asked to take an awesome classic Dutch cover by Daan Jippes and rework it so Donald would wear his normal outfit.
It's an honor for sure to have worked on the 75th Anniversary issues of this awesome magazine! Also... there's more a-comin' :)
They're for sale in the US right now, and if you want to pick them up at your comic store you better hurry, because these things tend to sell out fast. The anniversary issue is definitely worth picking up, with not only Donald and Mickey comics but also including characters like Lil' Bad Wolf and Ludwig von Drake!

Oh yes! I was lucky enough to already have had stuff published in Disney comic magazines quite a few years ago, but WDCS is double awesome because the magazine has such a great history. Having a cover on the Dutch Donald Duck magazine was very surreal as well, since they sell it in literally every single supermarket in my country. These two WDCS issues actually have my name in them though! :O

Since I don't draw myself I don't have a developed eye for art and what goes in it. Also this style and these characters are so ingrained that I've never stopped to really look at it.
Well, now I have and it is just amazing! The precision it must take to get style like this down to the tiniest little line.
