Lyra and Bon Bon were told by the doctor that they can't have foals together. Not willing to give up, Lyra sent out a public request about how her and Bon Bon needed help with a college assignment to practice caretaking, but the rest was a secret. Surprisingly, Lyra's request was taken up by Rarity, who vowed not to let their secret loose. Rarity didn't tell Lyra what she had in mind, but Lyra trusted her anyway.
Several days after Rarity took her request, Lyra came over to the Carousel Boutique to see how Rarity was going to help them complete their "assignment". To Lyra's surprise, Rarity takes her to see Bon Bon dressed up like a foal in designer's clothing. Rarity thought that Lyra and Bon Bon's secret is that they're an adult foal family and the college assignment about caretaking was their excuse. Unfortunately, that wasn't what Lyra meant when she wanted somepony to help them with their "assignment".
Rarity: "So, not only will all the materials provided be paid for by me, but I wholeheartedly promise to keep your secret!! Just a few more steps and you'll see why I'm the element of generosity!"
Bon Bon: *Thuck* *thuck* *thuck*
Rarity: "Oh Bon Bon, you didn't have to stand on the pedestal for all this time waiting! Lyra, what do you think?"
Lyra: "Um....this...she, uh...that's not what I meant...uh, when I meant I had a college assignment to practice caretaking, what I really meant-"
Rarity: "Say no more, darling! I've been surprised lately how many adult foal families have been coming to the boutique asking for my foal line in adult size! This time, I decided to give away my first true adult foal dress as a promotional! I win, you win!"
Lyra: "Well....if that's how you see it, I guess that's fine. But to tell you the truth, we uh...were expecting something quite different than this, to say the least..."
Lyra: *walks up and whispers to Bon Bon* "It's okay Bon bon, we'll get you out of that diaper and ridiculous outfit before you leave..."
Rarity: "Oh, darling, don't bother with that, it took about 3 hours for me to get her like that, and it'll probably take more than that to get her undressed. Besides...I have a stockade of other dresses and accessories to complete her wardrobe, as well as a free pack of XL Silly Filly Adult foal Mare's diapers, compliments of yours truly. *Squee* Speaking of diapers...comes to look like your "foal" probably can't move in a diaper that thick and a dress so tight. Guess you'll just have to cart her back home in that cozy pram I gave you? Pram-riding is probably one of your FAVORITE age-play activities, right Bon Bon?"

There a lot of inspirations and work that went into just this one sketch. As for style, my main inspiration is the hand-drawn colored pencil technique and style of wjmmovieman. My other design/style inspiration being that of
Kurikia on Fur affinity. His penchant to ridiculous full-color situations coupled with even more ridiculous-sized diapers made me do the same. Last inspiration would be Beavernator, who fuses vector art with icon-based stories in the description. :)
Also did a bit of tracing too.

With full color AND background...it was truly an exercise in how much I could do and how much detail and quality I stuff into a sketch. I love design and beauty-heavy anything, and I tried to create a situation where I could pack as much design into every square inch, that's why I picked to use a Golden Brisk dress to model off of and Carousel Boutique. Expect more of this in the future!
As much as I liked trying to copy the show's original vector art, I loved drawing the poofy diaper and making it bigger and more ridiculous on Bon Bon. With such a focus on super poofy diapers I can't help dedicate my first Adult Foal/AB/DL sketch to... Kurikia!!

Really nice work, very detailed. And I really appreciate you gave credit where it needs to be.
Also, because I know people are going to mention something, tracing is good practice. Eventually you'll get a feel for the shapes and posturing, and then 'take the training wheels off.'

I did not bother sharing it with him, because I didn't think he'd reply. I already sent him a note asking if he sold prints of his work, and he didn't reply. I thought the dedication and use of his name would attract his attention. I've never really bothered to PM an a-lister AB/DL artist because they never reply over deviantart, so I didn't think they would here. You seem to be the exception, perhaps. Not that I don't want to be personally involved with such people, quite the opposite.
