I was trying to sort of establish a few 'archetypes' for characters. The game uses the Savage Worlds game system, so there aren't classes per se, but there are a lot of archetypal builds depending on the setting.
The Vanguard is sort of the physical hand to hand fighter, with armor and weapons designed to fight close up. The Gunslinger is the guy who stands back and fights from a distance. The Demolitionist is a person who deals with large groups of weaker enemies, and the Nanotechnician manipulates nanoparticles to achieve magic-like feats.
