i hated that snow storm. messed up work royally. if it never snows here again, i'll be all too happy. snow belongs on Mt. Hood, not in portland!

I wish it would snow in July X3

It snows in the southern hemisphere around this time.

But then I have to travel to a country that doesn't use our laws :'3 lols

In Dallas here, they use the ruler in the other direction to measure snowfall (Seriously, though, they will measure the /grass/ under the snow and call it part of the snow depth, even when there's not enough snow to cover the grass... I have seen people jokingly lay the ruler down on the ground and report snow width instead of depth :D


We did get two feet of snow in about 2009 once... wow. was gone in two days but it was a rough two days :D Also every single house had a snowman or other snowcritter in front of it... I saw three "avatar flying critters" in blue and green on my block alone :D... There was a huge block of snow in front of the fire house, with two (much) smaller blocks on top, like they tried to make a snow man, but didn't /quite/ know how :D
