This is actually a reworking of a picture I commissioned 
sonderjen to draw for me earlier in the year. It was based on last year's story where Linda and Russell enter into a model boat race competition - with a modified model of the battleship USS Iowa fitted out with engines - and fully functioning gun turrets!
I needed a new picture to go with Transmission's upcoming third comic book compilation and decided to give this scenario a go myself ^^. I still think Sonderjen's version is very endearing though :) http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17456417/

Know I said this on DA, but 'tis a very nice piece here. Makes me think of the days when I was younger I would sit on the front porch watching the sun go down...
And the arc this is based off was nice. Thought it was very sweet and kind-hearted of Linda to offer her model to the poor kid who got his destroyed
