it hurt a little when it was getting pierced but nowadays i don't even notice it.

when i first got the piercing they give you an L shaped stud and i hated it so once it was healed i changed it to a ring. so other than that time i've never taken it out.

oh, gotcha. i think alot others do too. i see it time to time but never understood it since it looks painful

your nose is actually pretty fatty so the piercing itself just feels like pressure, maybe a slight pinch, and you feel it there for awhile (but not painful), and eventually like any other earring or piece of jewelry your body becomes desensitized to it and you don't feel it anymore.
