It's been a tiring two weeks and the busy-ness is not about to stop for a while yet ... annoyed as fuck about it, but can't be helped, so I grab every spare second that my mind will settle enough to be creative to push out at least something. Somehow all of these character studies turn out this way ... ah well.

Here's Myra, definitely the character that fought me most while trying to get her onto canvas for her ref sheet. She's a common european red squirrel and, with three years of age, she's seen quite a bit for a squirrel. This is largely thanks to the fact that she lives in the tree just above Tobur's den and therefore enjoys a certain amount of protection within his 50 paces.
The two of them have grown to be good friends ever since she moved in, but it doesn't make her any less cautious, and she's very well aware of her spot at the bottom of the food chain.

Despite all of this, she's a well spirited little tease, with a morbidly self aware sense of humor, and who loves to push snark with Tobur and generally annoy Marvin out of his fur.

For all those of you looking for an actual challenge; draw a set of bedroom eyes on a heavily feral squirrel without making her look ridiculous ... or a smile, without twisting their jaw anatomy Xb
