That hat looks like it's setting on top of the ears/horns and not making them seem flat or out of place, so I'd say your hat drawing here is a success. Love the way the fangs and horns look, too. :D

Well actually, the inking of the placement isn't the problem, it's the inking linework. A gradual curve, with another gradual curve within it, that has to mock the SAME curve(s) on the other side are just brutal to do. :c
