*cue the sitcom music?*
Damn, how long has it been since I drew something G-rated huh?! *is porn addict(?)*
I was finally able to get myself to draw this out! Even if I was lazy and did it on the tablet in my sketchy style. But I dunno, in a while my sketchy style kinda has well.. a style to it so it actually kinda looks like finished work. God tablet drawing is so much less work then drawing on paper GAH.
Anyway, what inspired this was a picture I saw someone upload on FB into one of the groups I'm in. I'm gonna post this to the page they posted the pic on, maybe they'll get a kick out of it. XD Anyway this is the original adorable photo: https://www.facebook.com/SmokingRub.....=3&theater
I thought such an adorable 'family' deserved the Half-Dude touch and deserved to be made into a REAL family in my signature anthro style. Why are they dressed in retro clothes? I dunno it just kinda seemed to fit. ^^;
So I took very little liberties from the source material. I kept the expressions of the original cars mostly in tact, aside from removing the Camaro frown from the baby, opting for a more traditional 'goo?' face. lol
The Father Camaro, a modern 2000s era car. I kept him with his stern signature gaze, one of those quite strong types of fathers I'd imagine. Shows little emotion on his face but a close enough family member would know he feels more then he shows. <3 The Mother Camaro I kept her bubbly happy looking face. She's a 70s era Camaro for anyone interested. It's interesting to look at the two of them and see the styling changes and styles that carried over between generations of the cars.
Anyway I guess that's all there is to really say. The Camaro family portrait. : 3

*The Petrol Parenthood Show was filmed in front of a live studio audience*
lol it's a good picture man! You're very good at clean stuff when you upload it! lol it's something I'd love to see more from you! For example, your story telling abilities and character development work with Pinky and Violet stick with me even to this day!! lol and I love this picture XD The face of the Father Camaro reminds me of Bert from Sesame Street for some reason!! lol I also love how just happy, innocent, and kind (if not a tad air headed) the mother car looks, and of course the pup is just adorable!! lol I could envision this hanging up on a wall somewhere in this house and being a main focus during the open title crawl! XD if you're not careful you might just have to do another series involving these three!
