
Heh sounds like the title of a pinup doesn't it? ;) I love this picture. Full view is a must! Australian roach (periplaneta australasiae) I caught around January. She's laid at least 50 eggs since :| You can see one of the eggs attached to the wood in this pic.
AUSTRALIAN COCKROACH INFO:
Australian cockroaches actually originated in Asia. They are the most common species of cockroach in Florida (where I found this one!). A single Australian roach can produce 20-30 ootheca at 10 day intervals. They only need to breed once and they can continue laying eggs the rest of their life. They are pest in households. They are very speedy and can fly well. Their wings are membranous with toughened forewings which overlap left over right. The nymphs are wingless.
