Evolves is a very good word for this piece! It constantly becomes something totally different, and infinitely better than what it was before. By the time it's over I can't remember what it was in the first place! Really awesome, like a journey! :D

I love the soft strings over the dancy beat! It's like music for video game sprites to dance to at their little sprite clubs Eee! The drums in the intro remind me of something tribal. What kind of drums did you use for the beat?

Drums? A ridiculous number. I use 'Logic Pro' to make my music, and it came with many drumkits.

From a drumkit called "Trip Hop", I used three highhats and several tuned drums.
From a drumkit callled "Breaks", I used some metallic "claps".
From a drumkit called "Drum 'n Bass", I used a maraca and a metallic chime.
From a drumkit called "Breaks", I used some struck metal bells
I threw in a cowbell, and tuned base drums....

...and I may be missing some other drums that I used.

Yes. There was a lot of layering.
