Introducing Lucky, my husband's new fursona! Lucky is a shire horse, LOVES to run, and is as hard a worker as they come! I really loved designing this guy for
buzzybeak! He's so pretty I just love him! When I was trying to think of a setting to put Lucky in for his big introduction I couldn't resist pulling out one of my hubby's photos from the McMurdo Marathon he ran in Antarctica; that's my hubby in the yellow right behind his new fursona, leading the race!
Lucky belongs to my mate,

That's what most people think of when they think of Antarctica, but much of it is actually land beneath all that snow and ice! McMurdo is located in one of the areas where that land is visible. There's even a volcano -- Mt. Arabus -- visible in the distance in many of the photographs
buzzybeak has taken to show me!

Yeah, it really is! You'd be surprised how much dirt and dust there really is there, LOL! Buzzy is always bringing home the coolest photos, both of the ice and the land.
And no problem! Trust me, I think we all have the same impression of Antarctica because the ice and snow is all we ever see on TV, LOL! I know the first time I saw the dirt roads I was surprised, and when he told me there was a volcano -- and an ACTIVE one -- I was all kinds of impressed myself, LOL!
