Tomato & Bocconcini Salad
Today's recipe I did as I take a short break from posting photos from Furpocalypse and we go a bit simpler than a 13 vegetable stirfry (See previous submission) This actually brings me back when I would usually cook something and post it.
It does kinda look like garlic, but oh god it would burn, my friend made a salad and instead of putting a clove of garlic in, he put in a bulb of garlic.
Bocconcini is unripened mozzarella and is a bit more perishable and is best consumed fresh.
Anyways......
I used a pack of Cherry Tomatoes cut in half
A pack of Cocktail sized bocconcini cut in half (in my area they sell different sizes of bocconcini)
1 - 1 1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
1/4 - 1/3 cup olive oil
Cut up your cherry tomatoes place them in a bowl, or serving dish, then cut up your bocconcini
Add your salt, pepper oregano and basil basically be sure its spread evenly over the tomatoes and bocconcini then add your olive oil.
Stir it to be sure everything is covered.
