Second commission for
teiirka
This one was really long. It passed with me through a lot of situations and life obstacles.
Firstly I started to draw other variant, which I decided to abandon for some reasons. The current result is the second try to finish this commission. As I was moved because of some personal life troubles, I`ve got no scaner in my new place of live. My mate presented me one some days ago. Finally the piece is here on FA. Nya.

I have several art pieces that I have been waiting many months for and some well over a year! Some commissioners are never happy but most are very patient. I feel an artist should never be rushed and I personally never set deadlines. Art comes when the time is right and should not be stressful. Doing art for me is suppose to be enjoyable... and if someone happens to want to pay me for some, all the better! :)
Hm. Depends.
Sometimes making an art is a simple commercial action with all accompanying staff - conditions, agreements and deadlines. I understand the customers` dissatisfaction, when all of the deadlines are missed.
But when there are no deadlines at all, your position becomes close to me. I can`t speak for every artist, but in my own case you are completely right. Rushing (without definite deadlines) makes me anxious. I hurry to finish the pieces and forget about them for keeps. It always affects the quality.
When I check my notes for the next regular ping for the commission status, I`m beginning to think, that I`m the only person all over the FA, who have the full-time job, sport trainings, hobbies and familly. I have no other explanation, why people expect to receive their picture during a week or two (especially when I`m upgrading the progress status and always mention the approximate deadlines). As for myself I find the time to check FA only once a week, omg.
