The first of my stoies, and basically serves as an intro. Trust me, it gets better...really.

After reviewing the fist chapter I decided I could do better so I made some upgrades. Please comment. For those of you who arent't familier with the series, it's about a young Chakat who fights pirates on a regular basis. It actually is quite interesting, but sadly no yiff.

This story's original draft was written in only a week. The editing took almost half a year. In the original version Blackstar had two sisters, with Snowstorm being called Quickcloud while a second sister was named Snowstorm and was a heavy drinker.

The earliest plans for the series started off about a year or two before this while Blackstar and Nightrose were both in Starfleet acadamy. Blackstar was later kicked out due to hir father's action, and Nightrose joined hir to form the um...security firm known as the Blitz team. I do plan on writing a prequal of this story at some point but I don't know when I'll get around to it.
