NOTE:
This is the second one of the Danny Trejo halloween specials and it is based on urban legends and folklore,  it also is also the first in which we see a transformed Nathan/Danny telling the story.  This is also a story with a flashback sequence of how Trejo who serves as the storyteller became the way he is.  This starts off with a campfire scene ala episodes of Are You Afraid Of The Dark.

This also introduces the legendary monster El Cucuy who is portrayed as a trickster type who specializes in dark magic and like in the original myth,  he goes after children who have been bad.  This version of Cucuy also has 'supernatural breath' just like the Grand Duke Of Owls from the movie Rock-A-Doodle.
