Nothing revealing there. I questioned her fur color since Jackals are naturally brown and the black color was thought up by the Egyptians perhaps. I asked this same question 3 years ago on his art blog and I looked it up again and his response was the same as Nightshade's here. Someone else asked if she had melanism https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Melanism , but Kadath himself questioned this.
Well there was a wasted opportunity to have her be truly unique. Yeah, a hidden identity she is embarrassed about because it does not live up to the expectations her new appearance holds up. Thank you for revealing that information, Nightshade. Any enemies you have made will be sure will take advantage of this splendid opportunity you have given them.

Huh...actually I think she looks pretty damn good either way.
And even if this gets me beaten to death by her, I'll still say that there's a good part of me that likes her original color better. I mean, her current color fits both her hair and outfit, but I kind of like that original color on h-

At least it's a potential that isn't going to waste, so I'm content (is that the right word?) with that idea.

I doubt Patrick would have a problem with her being brown. I can picture her dye wearing off after a morning shower, and then Pat wakes up before Nightshade can apply more and she gets super embarrassed. But then Pat is like "Leave it, I kinda dig that color on you." Then she gets super happy all of a sudden. That's how you know it's true love.
