Eastern dragons are just awesome, some of my favorite too. Really cool that it included a lot of accurate mythology, aside the wings, which are cool too, there's the water, the water rapids which I guess is the gate that the karp jump over to become a dragon, whole thing is awesome, artist gets a free tank for the good art! :D
hehe, the wings were part of the character, and didn't quite look right when I tried to do them in traditional style. But yes! You recognize the Acension of the Koi, which means you know the story -- the central carp is like a kind of proto-cesium dragon, hehe. ;) Thanks for saying so! :D
Depends on the movie. But... yeah. Don't get me started on Armageddon. That movie couldn't go five minutes without doing something so spectacularly and stupidly wrong that I'd be yelling at the screen. Good thing I didn't watch it in a theater... and that isn't even the worse movie out there for mangling science. It's just the worst one I've been able to sit through.
