Common across all Continents. Located around water and in shallow water.

Genders are exactly the same. They live in flocks that consist of normally one or two males and a large number of females. When a male dies, a female transforms into a male ala angel fish.

These creatures are extremely intelligent and skilled stardragons have been known to tame these creatures and use them as a scout, a mailing service, etcetera. Think falconeers and their falcons. The Giokio's skin in the wild is similar to siamese fighting fish, but after being tamed and as their relationship with their stardragon became more friendly, the creature will slowly adopt colors and designs of their masters and incorporate hem into their own pelt.
